It must suck being a millionaire right….right?!

By now most of you have heard that Nicolas Cage is kind of a weird son of a bitch and spent all of his money on exotic cars and rare tropical socks or some shit like that, and now the IRS wants him to give them like five million dollars or they’re going to put his ass in a jail that Sean Connery can’t break him out of. What you may NOT have heard is that Johnny “Pirate” Depp is covering the five million.

According to Depp, Cage is a lifelong friend, and the reason that Depp got out of being an unemployed musician and started acting. Cage even set Depp up with his agent, who got him the not so starring role as “dead kid #2″ in A Nightmare on Elm Street. Depp just opened his magic Hollywood wallet and paid it like it was the bill at a Denny’s. That’s awesome, but our theory is a much, much more grim ending to this charitable tale.

I’ve had some time to play around with Modern Warfare 2 over the last few days, and I have to say that I’m as impressed as can be expected, but the game neither blew my mind, nor “rocked my socks” as they are still firmly attached to my feet. The single player campaign and spec ops mode both offer great online co-op choices, and they are both enjoyable in their own right. Multiplayer, however, is a somewhat more… limited experience. When watching the advertisement for the game, with it’s thumping bass from the hip hop beat, snow mobile races, jumping off of exploding buildings, and aerial combat, one is led to believe that all of these things would be available. The sad truth is that, while online multiplayer is great fun, it is severely lacking compared to other FPS technologies currently on the market. I felt less like I was playing an in depth tactical shooter and more like I was playing a round of free for all Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64, or possibly Counter Strike Classic.

Last but not least, I recently continued a previously thought dead hobby and began reading comic books again. I had planned on posting some picks and reviews as I once did in the past, but I still need a week or two to truly get caught up on what exactly has happened to the various comic universes over the last year and a half. Well, for now, that’s it. Again, we at Trouble Ticket would just like to say we’re glad to have you here, and we hope you enjoy the new site design.
